No one responds to e-mails/texts, unless you are consistent and e-mail/text for months on end, then you get a very vague response. I have neighbors who have built with Fieldstone and are having the same problems I am. Fieldstone is nice to you when you start the process, but once you close on your house, forget about any sort of communication or getting problems fixed. I had HOLES in my garage roof when I moved in. My 7-year-old can sheet rock better than the contractors they hired.

I would give a 0-star review, but that's not an option. I do not recommend building with Fieldstone Family Homes. When they did final grade on my lot, it was not done correctly. When my landscapers showed up to lay sod, they had to re-grade my entire lot. That cost an extra bill to me, that Fieldstone is refusing to pay. My sidewalk and steps had to be removed and repoured.
When I post about my own experience and opinion, that is not defamation. I hope you treat your future clients better than you've treated me. This is also not defamation, so don't try to call me back with that response. You can e-mail me, so I have everything in writing, with a solution as to how these problems will be fixed. But I suggest you communicate with your co-workers first, so you're not blindly calling me knowing nothing about what I've been dealing with.
We had nothing but concrete for a year in the basement until we saved enough to install Pergo. The vinyl they laid in the bathrooms lasted all of a year as well and is peeling up everywhere. Half the window latches broke, and I'll be damned if I can find a square corner in the whole house. The interior paint looked so pretty at first, but after a few months you could tell it was low grade too.
